Beach Find

Found this on the beach today. Thought it was a gun at first, but after removing the bulk of corrosion it looks like a clamp. Any ideas? Thanks.

Looks the same to me, It busted in two right at the bend. The threaded piece even shows where it had the (missing)swivel part that presses against, in this case, the table.
