Beach find-------nut:unsure:

This is the nut I wanted to show you Wednesday. It was totally encrusted in a black crunchy stuff. When I started to crumble the crunchy stuff off, it looked like a gold ring inside. Then I ended up with this nut. You can still see some of the black stuff in the center of the nut. I am holding the nut with a pen with a brass tip. The nut looks like it's gold plated. It is more gold colored then the brass. It wasn't tarnished at all. Have you ever heard of a gold plated nut.

Sorry, I couldn't resist! so, is that a nut possibly off a care tire? I've heard of gold bumpers, gold hubcaps....just a thought:nerd:

Okay, okay, all lets push all the "nut" jokes aside(jeez, now IM doing it). Ive seen lots of gold palted nuts. They come in all sorts of cheap stuff like assemble-it-yourself furniture and so on.
