Beach detecting

Yep.

Don't like dry sanding. Never get very much. Prefer inland parks and playgrounds.

Wet sand too much of a hassle. Very difficult to steady the machine. I know that its supposed to be brilliant compared to a lot of other detectors. If so I truly feel sorry for their owners.

And yes, I have tried it in beach mode, tracking on, tracking off, sens down, auto GB, manual GB, coin and treasure mode, prospecting mode etc. etc.

Inland its brilliant, love it to death, beach yuk. Besides I have my beloved excal for beach stuff.

Cheers Lou.

Found that the xt70 is fine in the dry sand where it does an excellent job. However, in the wet there are far better choices such as the minelab excaliber or any of the PI s. The x-terra is just too unstable in the wet salt sand.
