Beach coil choices

Hi All,

I'm going to the beach this weekend with my new MXT..here are my coil choices..

Standard 9.5 coil
Eclipse 5.3
Super 12 coil

Which coil would you go with for general beach hunting? The 5.3 for deep seeking and covering a smaller area or the Super 12 for covering more of the beach and possibly missing the smaller targets.

Here is fresh water.Lake Erie,but the beach is loaded with iron minerals supposedly black sand and junk that drop of the ore boats.Hard to use a big coil on mxt.Small coil works best.Hope this helped

I use the 10x6 on my m6 on the beach, hot sand, and it works very well and seems to be plenty deep as well. Fresh water Lake Huron.
