Beach and Water Hunt Question

New member
What are the peak months for detecting beaches and in water for Florida ??

Id say much like you would think...... summer and fall. The winter we have a lot of people ....but most come, set, and leave the beach but dont get in the water. So in the winter and spring (spring break) dry/wet sand hunting is a better choice. Also its a little more surfie in the winter..... in the fall you get a few larger cuts and better negitive tides. During the winter you also compete with a lot more detectors in the wet/dry sand as well as spring break time. It gets a little quiet in the water in the winter and spring.... not to mention you best have a wet suit, the water is cold after 3 or 4 hours.
