Beach and Park day...

Woke up a bit early today and headed to a small beach here in Miami. No Jewerly but dug up lots of Pulltabs lol. Total number of coins was 16. 3 quarters, 2 nickels, 5 dimes, 6 pennies and 1 Wheatie (odd for a Miami beach). Called it quits then headed to an old park which I really like how my MXT performed even with the Super 12 coil and lots of trash. Was there for about an hour and came up with 1 quarter, 3 dimes, 2 pennies, and 1 1944 Wheatie. Can't wait to go back with more time and a pinpointer (lost some targets). Really liked the park lots of good sounding targets. 23 total coins for $2.00

the super 12 coil would be a little aggravating in a trashy park, a 950 coil or the 5 inch coil would be better choice, also a pinpointer is a must for park hunting. HH

Sounds like the MXT is working good for you. A smaller coil in trashy areas will really improve your finds. I don't know if I would want to hunt anymore without my ProPointer, I am too spoiled. It makes recovery so easy and quick. When I had my Prizm 6T, I used the 4X6 DD Shooter coil in trashy parks and I found some real nice finds that others had missed due to them being masked by trash. I have a 5.3 for my Eagle Spectrum and it works pretty good too but I liked the 4X6 better for heavy trash. Good luck with your MXT and HH.
