Beach after a storm.

Mark kus

Well-known member
I've been hunting a local beach and combined super high tides and wind
Have left untold amounts of clad coins and a few old Mercs from the 20's and 40's
The beach has massive erosion and the coins are litterly lying on the heavier
Red sand with footprints on top of them! People do not look at the ground!
Took dad and brother yesterday with our detectors but we were just walking along picking up coins
And a few with the machines.
Dad had a 18k St Christophers medal and a few silvers and clad I had one merc
And about $5.00 in clad brother had a silver rosie a buffalo and a bunch of clad to.
If you have a beach near you and its winter hit the beach after the storms!
I can not post pics from my phone??? For some reason but will when I get on home computer.
I hunt this spot all the time and always after a storm the finds are always worth the walk!

This is how most of my finds on the beach are just sitting on top of the sand!

Easy pickins... perfect weather conditions to wash away sand and leave coins.. enjoy it while you got it...

Hit it again today one merc a 1944 and a bunch of clad man I find
A lot of those 44's!
