Be aware of used detectors for sale on forum (Not from regular posters)

It seems there is an uprising about to occur on e-bay..The way it reads is it's going to be no posts made in the near future for a time because of e-bay price increase.

Now I am not..repeat, not saying do not buy..but there may very well be some detectors posted here that are not put up by our regular posters, who are honest and fair.

There may be several, if not many, that are being posted from individuals who know nothing about a detector, other than they acquired it and want to sell it.

Some will be good, some will not be so good. Some will work, and others will not. Just make certain of the sellers track record, and get as much info as possible before buying the detectors. Remember not all who have them know if there , good or bad, work, or not. The only time I have felt cheated was from a purchase not made here. In fact I threw the detector away after stripping a few parts from it.

I sell a lot on Ebay I'm a power seller.I haven't heard anything of an uprising.I got an email from Ebay stating they were going to reduce fees because of customer's complaining.I would be careful even dealing here with poster's.The market on this forum isn't large enough here and the buyer's are too smart for the most part for a trader to come out ahead.Even on Ebay its getting harder to find good deals.

thats a big fer sure, i was gonna sell my LST to a new guy that popped up on the forums and had emails with him, and that was over a month ago and haven't heard nothing from him or even seen any post by him since then . that made me nervous. i decided to trade it to a dealer instead. i will probably never buy or sell a detector to an individual, i will just deal with dealers from now on. sad.

Do not list was going to happen for a few days on e-bay...I by the way meant no offense about fine people like you, or for that matter anyone..I just wanted people to be aware not everyone who has and sells detectors on e-bay know detectors....Nor do they know if they work properly or not..Just trying to be cautious for all to be aware if it does happen like propsed..I had not heard that e-bay caved in and wasn't going to go ahead with the price increase to sellers.
If thats the case I guess there will be no detector problems here. ( Thats very good)..again thank you Sir..your input is always welcome on any post I make.
