Bay Area CA: Looking for gold prospecting partner

Hello! I'm in the bay area. New to the hobby and have a gpx4800 on the way. I want to learn to gold prospecting/detecting in the various areas (motherlode, as well as north and southern california).

Would love to pair up with others new and old to get things going.
