Hi all. I am praying that it goes well...
Last Sunday I went out to hunt down an old bridge where fighting on May 21, 1838, (174 years ago) Bendejo the Battle of the First Carlist War (1833-1840)
The land was not comfortable, being in a strong slope, with many loose rocks and vegetation, so in 4 hours had covered only a small field.
Except in a small area along the existing road, the rest of the area was free of debris.
The results have been pretty good.
My partner (XP Deus) I gave him the good part, a coin bucket seventeenth century still unidentified but possibly of King Philip III, well before the facts, and other currencies of the time of the battle, 8 maravedis King Carolus VI, 1806, and several musket balls round. Highlight one, expanded against a stone.
My game was limited to 7 round balls of musket and a nail quite old, but worthless, a cap of 9 long and two current modedas
The day was cold, but without rain the previous day. The ground quite wet, ideal for detection.
After the game, visit the small chapel of San Roque, where a plaque commemorates a person killed during the last civil war (1936/1939) and the start of a stretch of Roman road, first century AD Small place with great history.
I hope you liked it.
a greeting
