Battery warranty info from Minelab

Dan(NM)

Well-known member
If you notice, they make sure to mention that the battery is replaceable

I called Minelab and told them what I did and that I posted pictures, I did not void my warranty as per Minelab. I was told the marketing dept was going to post a statement in regards to the battery being replaceable. I was joking with the rep about doing them a favor by posting the pics and that they should send me a hat, they are :minelab:

I think if someone took the battery out and screwed up the seals and took it for a swim then drowned the battery compartment, yes, you would probably be in trouble. Mine will never see water, so, for me, it was not a risk.

Brilliant! – – When a bunch of users ask a bunch of intelligent questions the marketing department gets the finger out of their nether regions and gives us the information they should’ve given us upfront. Better late than never – but they’ve now done it and done it well.
