Battery Voltage, CZ5/CZ6a

I'm trying out some new 9 V batteries from Philips. They cost about 1/2 of the Energizer batteries.

I want to see how long they last. I've been using the Energizer Alkalines, and they last around 20 hrs or so.

After each hunt, I measured the voltage on the Philips 9V.

So far:

2.5 hrs 8.8 volts
2.5 hrs 8.75 v
1 hr 8.75 v
3.5 hr 8.3 v
4 hr 8.1 volt

Does anyone know at which battery voltage the CZ will quit working?

Ken

No but once your pinpoint starts to cut off time for new batteries..Don't know if you have a Walgreens in Canada but they are always on sale and last as long as any other alkaline..
You only get what you pay for and thats not only for batteries but just about anything around us..I know years ago got a super deal on a bunch of no name and yep got about an hour in the field also..so look before you leap....
