Battery recommendation??

QuickDrawII

New member
Hey all, hope everyone is having a good Mother's day!

I recently purchased the Quick Draw II from Amazon and am patiently awaiting its arrival! :spin:

I am posting here today to ask questions about what kind of 9V battery I should use.

In the manual, it says that only Alkaline batteries should be used. I purchased 9V batteries from the dollar store (Sunbeam - "Super Heavy Duty") and I am wondering if they would be OK to use in the detector? To me, a battery is a battery lol.

Are there any advantages to using Alkaline batteries?

Thanks a lot :)

I use BTY ni-mh 300mAh 9V rechargeable in my BOUNTY LEGACY,they are very good and cheep to buy on EBAY,

they are much better then ENERGIZER alkaline and there rechargeable for the quater prices.
