battery question

I have a set of rechargeable batteries and one of the 8 batteries will no longer hold a charge. Is it okay to mix different rechargeables as long as they are the same, but different brands. The ones I have currently are Tenergy 2300 mah, rechargeable AA, 1.2 V, size AA (R6)- NI-MH.
Do to not using the batteries very much since April, this one battery will only hold a charge for about 4-5 hours at the time.
These are the first rechargeble batteries I have ever used and I really enjoy them.

Generally I don't like to mix my batteries but so long as the capacity and quality is identical then you shouldn't have any problems.
When recharging it is a good idea to charge batteries of the same brand and capacity rather than mix them up a bit because some batteries are of a lower quality than others and may not all be suited to the same charge rates even though they may all be rated at the same capacity.

Some chargers will facilitate different size, type and capacity of cells and batteries all at the same time.

Yeah these chargers are great because each battery port is indavidually and automaticlly monitored and shuts of each battery as it comes up to charge.
mine is similar to yours Ivanll just a different shape I reckon. I have not had any battery overcharge problems since using this type of charger for my AA & AAA.
