Battery Power Vs Detecting Power

As my battery power gets lower on my Nox-600, how much does it affect my ability to detect..?

from the manual page 8 in the blue box..........

The detector regulates the battery voltage so that its performance remains constant regardless of the charge remaining in the battery.

Thanks Jeff,.... That's the 2nd time I missed something in the manual.

To add, voltage regulators have been in metal detectors for a very long time. I’ve seen the stories..” My machine detected 5” deeper with new batteries!”...not quite.

Someday I'll buy some new printer cartridges and print the manual. I seem to remember details better if I read them on paper instead of online, but then I won't have an excuse for forgetting what I read!

A hard copy is enjoyed by us old folks a lot more than digital I think.
I like to be able to go to my bookshelf and grab a manual when I need it.

From my personal experience you can hunt till you get Battery failure BF on the screen. The volume will dropping to about half will be your first warning, even if your using the wm08.
By the way it took 3 medium length days to run the batteries down. When you deplete the battery it will take a long time to recharge about eight hours or more.
