I think I may have found the problem with screen message, horizontal.
The other week I tried the 8 AA battery pack, I have now used it a few times with no problems.
Not a lot of detecting at the moment as the County is too busy, a news article the other day said that 1,000,000 people were heading for Cornwall over the weekend, don't know where they are going to go.
