I am going to mod one of my 8 AA alkaline packs and make a rechargeable pack. I have the info from the thread showing how to do it. I just need the thermistor and wanted to check to see if anyone had one or two they would like to sell before I go and buy one. If you have one you can just reply here or PM me.
