Battery pack for the Bounty Hunter DE 280 Outlaw

windy

New member
I'm new here.
Need to know what battery pack is needed for the Bounty Hunter Outlaw model DE 280. In the old machine I have, there's an obvious connection for a 9V battery; but the other battery pack is missing.
Thanks for your help.

Windy

I will check for you on the battery pack. Hope to see more of you!

God bless!

Not sure about the battery pack, but check this website. He still works on them.
www.brokendetector.com.

He should be able to help you.

Sometimes (and not sure if this is the case..been a long time) even though you see a 9V type plug that a 9V battery would hook up to...there used to be a plastic holder for AA batteries with the same connector.

In fact here is a picture on one taken out of a Bounty Hunter Pro detector:

You see in the bottom left of the picture the 9V type connetion.

This battery pack isn't like super hard to find...you'll probably find one just like it at Radio Shack.

Hope this helps and welcome to the forum Windy
