battery for dual field will it work??

i know that it says 10.8v but i think it should be like the excal battery wich says 12v but full charge is about 14v
 
Hello,

with a 400mah battery You'll run out of steam in 4 hours more or less on the dual field.

Also, normal Ni-mh batteries have a steep decay curve so just after 2 hours you'll probably be at 9volts or less.

You could use LiPo batteries instead but I advise You that, if short-circuited or dropped in water they can explode or take fire.

Should seawater flood inside the DF case You'd be in serious trouble!

I use a lipo on my GoldQuest
11.1 volts / 4000 Mha
mounted separated by security

12.5 of the battery voltage out
works perfectly
