Battery conversion

So i recently converted my 802-5211 nicad battery pack to a 9.6v Ni-mh battery pack, and i was wondering what additional changes do i need to make so that i can use the existing charger that originally came with the 802-5211 pack so that it will charge my new Ni-mh battery because it doesn't seem to be working. Any help would be appreciated.

It will not work with Ni-mh batteries . You need another charger, you can use something like this... if you want to keep it simple.

and spice your male end on from the other charger or buy and end to fit ,there only 2 or 3 dollars for one that plugs into the new charger , so it will plug into the old female end in the pack.
