Battery contacts

I am experiencing an annoying problem with my F75.Every so often the screen goes blank and I know that I have to open the battery door and reposition the batteries to get it to fire up again .Seems the negative battery contact springs have taken a set .Does anyone have an easy answer to this ?Other than this it is one great detector .

I have not experienced any problems with mine after a ton of hours, but can you spring the spring up a little for a stronger and better contact? Also, you might insert a small, thin piece of something like cardboard between the bottom of the battery and the spring for a tighter fit. Over all, there have been some battery compartment issues with the F 75, but Fisher will take care of the problem if you send it back. Good luck and HH jim tn

Canadian Digger,

Had the exact same problem with mine out of the box. I stretched the springs a little and that works.
