battery connector question

snowman

New member
I have the ACE Garrett 250, and havent used it for a while. I want to start again...so I went to put batteries in it and one of the copper connectors with a spring on it is missing. I have no idea what its called or where to get a new one. Can someone help

Thanks

mine fell out a few times when changing batteries. I dont know why it is not fastened better at the Garret factory.Just be careful next battery change. Just ask Garret for a battery connector and tell them what postion from left to right in battery compartment. Wayne

In a pinch I bet you can make that connection ,, somehow?? Maybe parts from a old remote control?? Or what ever it takes. Although I have a Ace 250 I have not looked at the battery box to see exactly what it looks like. Seems it shouldn't be too hard to make the connection.

Its not going to hurt anything to try,,either it is connected with power,,or it is not!! No harm!!
