FOUND A EDGE AND I WAS WONDERING IF THERE IS ANY ADVANTAGE OR DISADVANTAGE TO THE TWO 9VOLT BATTERIES

The detector runs on 9 volts it just uses 2 for a longer life.stay with energizers or duracells there much easier to get out of the detector the cheaper ones will swell when exhausted and become tight in the battery slot.

One thing is the detector will run on just one battery if you loose one.
