Does anybody notice better overall Explorer preformance with regular alkaline batteries vs. the rechargable battery pack in regards to depth and sensitivity .
 
yes, they crank the engine much easier in it when starting in cold weather. <img src="/metal/html/lol.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":lol">
actually, 2000 ma NMH batteries, or higher, bought after market can give you a longer run time than alkaline if freshly charged. <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)">
 
when the voltage and or current gets too low in the XS it will make the low battery noise and screen low battery to you a couple of times then shut down. it doesn't know what kind of battery it is using. it works right or not at all.
 
I have MAHA 2000 mAh in my explorer and they work for soooo long <img src="/metal/html/biggrin.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":D"> and with the MAHA charger i can full charge them in 5 hours or for fast charging in only 100 min.
I love this USA equipment...
