Batteries I have been through a few in my detectors.

These are what I have settled on for my AT PRO have tried every thing out there the last being rechargeable. These are the best I can find have ran them is several other detectors too. Put these in on my third set of batteries and have done a lot of cold weather hunting since and they are still going strong. Give them a try if you are winter detecting then get back to me and let me know what you think.

Good to -40F shelf life 15 years. I find these at a local flea market for around $4 a pack so look around you can fi d them at a good deal.

They charge up to 1.6 volts instead of 1.2 like Nimh batteries do and they have a very low self discharge rate so you don't have to worry about them draining down if they set for a while. The come with 2500 maH capacity so they last longer than alkalines too. I am going to continue to use my Nimh batteries until they are toast but I won't buy any new ones, only NiZn new ones. I have only used them in a White's DFX so far but it is a battery pig and it likes these batteries.
You can find them on amazon or a bunch of other places. If you buy some make sure to buy a NiZn charger with them as they won't charge up right if you a battery charger that is made for Nimh or NiCad.

I did purchase a set, the same as you are showing, and there is absolutely no problems with some hunts at -20C. And they really didn't cost much more then regular premium alkaline brands.
