Batteries for the V3?

coach c

New member
Got my new V3 coming. Question - Are you able to take the batteries out of the rechargeable pack and charge them separately or do you have to use the charger that comes with the pack? Or can you use rechargeable batteries in the unit where the alkaline batteries go.

I have found with my old machine, that good rechargeable batteries (2500+) charged on a slow (24 hour) charger last twice as long as alkaline batteries......Coach C

That is what I do. Instead of having a spare pack that is alkalines I just use a high quality AA that I can recharge. Then I just put them in that spare pack and it works great. Hope this helps

You get two battery packs with the V3, the NiMH pack is sealed and you must use their V3 charger, you get one with the V3.

You also get a battery pack that uses 8 AA batteries of you choice, regular or rechargeable batteries. You can not use the Above V3 recharger on this pack, it

You got your answer except;

Are you able to take the batteries out of the rechargeable pack and charge them separately. NO

I built a 2500 pack that can be charged with the Whites charger. Using the Alkaline pack with 2500 rechargeables works just as good it just takes a little longer good luck. Rob
