I spent an hour or so with my AT Gold trying an old homesite in the woods near my son's place here in Victoria BC. It showed all the signs of having been detected before, lots of junk signals and small square depressions where plugs had been dug, shallow scrapes under trees etc... But I had fun and did manage a few fun finds including a clad quarter, the back of an old pocket watch, a square brass thing that I think was a fancy wall switch plate from the old mansion, and best of all...a bat mobile and a silver skull ring! LOL!
