General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

Ok, I bought this ATX to use on a trip last month. I used it for 2 hours, it was not submerged and it was not even in the rain, although it is waterproof to 10 feet. It is an awesome detector, it really is, but I have some unforeseen expenses forcing me to sell it. I had not even filled out the warrant card, everything it came with is included which is : the ATX, 8 garrett supplied rechargeable batteries and 2 rechargeable battery cases, AC rechargeable battery charger, 2 alkaline battery holders and the 8 AA Garrett supplied batteries, the swing assist, dc charger for the rechargeables, owners manual, Warranty card, carrying case. The detector works flawlessly, has not been dropped or exposed to any harsh environments such as extreme heat or cold. This is as close to brand new as you can get without buying a brand new one. I do not have the box it came in, while on my trip my "better half" decided to do spring cleaning and chucked my box, she said " what's the big deal, it's just a box", they just don't understand lol! Anyway here's your chance to own the ATX for a much better price. I will accept paypal payment if you add the 3% to cover their fee ($55) or I will accept a postal money order. $1850 shipped ConUs
I am firm on this price, I know what these are worth and I'm still losing money at this price. To be fair to all prospective buyers, reply with "pm sent" then send me a pm explaining your preferred method of payment and shipping address, I will update the thread with a "payment pending" message when someone has agreed to purchase and it will be marked "sold" when payment complete. I will offer it to the buyers in the order of the replies, if first deal falls through I will move to the next and so on. Thanks
 
I've had mine listed for almost a month now with no interest what so ever. Maybe you will have better luck selling yours.

Well I just looked up your listing. In my experience pictures of the item you are selling always helps, and mine does have the blank warranty card and never even was used long enough to drain the rechargeables. But who knows, yes I need to sell it but I'm not giving it away, I know what it's worth and I just won't do it. It's a great detector, if I go to ebay with it I will start it at $1850. Maybe you should consider ebay?
 
It's an expensive machine which appeals mostly to beach hunters and gold nugget hunters. The beach season is just getting started and nugget hunting is year around, but AZ is probably the biggest market along with CA. Here in AZ, it will soon be too hot to hunt much.

Your price is probably OK, but in a thin market, you might have to re-post a few times. Also try Craigslist. eBay is international, so you get the max exposure there. There are also Prospecting forums with classified sections.
