Basic beach hunting

Hi to everyone, I spend a lot of time at the beach and wanted to know if there are any good books or something written on the starting basics of using a MD for beach hunting (Not under water). Looking info such as what time to go

Treasure Recovery from sand and sea by charles garrett is a good book to get you started

WOW ... I can not believe no one has mentioned Clive Clynick's books on beach and water hunting.

"Site-Reading for Gold and Silver" and "Water Hunting : Secrets of the Pro's" are two of the best books on the subject.
