Barrel Lock... Railroad?

[attachment 31879 lock.jpg]Found this next to the railroad tracks. It is about the size of a silver dollar, barrel lock, 3/4 of an inch thick, and the writing on it reads:

"2"
" O. SCHWEITZER "
" NEW YORK"

However, there is NO railroad insignia on it. Thanks, Mike
