Bark, Dirt and Grass "Fishing" Yields 141 Coins

Well I spent the best part of the day :detecting: I started at a playground, hit a couple blocks of easements and then ended at a park. The highlights was a 1946 nickel, a 1944d wheat penny and a Camelot Park arcade token. I found 141 coins for $8.41. I need 130 more coins to make my 10,000 coin since I started May of last year.

I also found a foreign coin, a 1993 Canadian penny.

One more time you have shown what not only the ACE 250 can do but your TOUCH also bro. That's a great total of coins and dollars to go with it. As for that "foreign" coin? I'm sure John :canadaflag: will have something to say about that.....
10,000 that's like a lot aint it!!! :clapping:Good huntin' sir
Got to remember he lives in Calif with almost year round tecting. I live in Washington state and we have WINTERS like right now. I started about a month later than my Bro and I have 9493 coins. I was hoping to hit the 10k mark this year but the ground froze and the snow fell. Oh well........

lol, that's alot of diggin! I had me "best ever" day recently, as far as number of coins, just over 150 (99% was clad) and my poor old body paid for it over the next few days. Sounds like you'll meet your 10,000 coin goal.

Congrats

Smitty
I feel your pain. Living here in California only the rain slows me down. What is rain anyhow? Lord knows we could use some. :)hot:Doing the rain dance)

Just talked to my brother-in-law in Murrieta. They had three inches and tonight it's getting down to freezing. I told him he'd better dig his long johns out. :) I was down there in 69 when Southern California was a lake. All the freeways were flooded and closed. Lake Elsinore looked like Lake Mead and all the parks and picnic areas were under water with just the top of the trees sticking out along with the tops of some mobile homes. Railroad Canyon Lake filled up and overflowed into Elsinore. It was just freaking lovely.
