................................for shallow water hunting!!??............ Used to wear old shoes but it became a hassle cleaning them plus I wore out a lot!...........Have gone barefoot for years........................the beaches that I go to are relatively clean....................but thinking about going to some older and more trashy sites and probably need foot protection..............................WHAT DO YOU WEAR??....................................HH...................Joe

i wear hard sole ,zip up diving boot..keeps the sand out and easy to dig with.

I like hard sole dive booties...use 3mil here in fl. best thing about bootie is no sand in your toes, a sole like tennis shoe and good arch support...rdi

Most of my beaches have broken glass so I always wear footwear. If the water is cool I wear dive boots but for most of the year I wear Chacos, water, hiking sandals with a Vibram sole for extra support and protection. Mine are several years old and perform beautifully.

Boots or sneakers. Patty got a good wack from a stingray on wednesday, just below the ankle bone. She wasnt wearing either that afternoon, but sandles. Had she had on the sneakers at least, the stinger would have gotten the thicker cuff of the sneaker.

If you saw all the broken glass and rusted metal I pull out of there, you wouldn't EVEN consider bare foot. Don't got there! I cannot even fathom barefoot. Those beach goers are braver than I! I would rather swim with the sharks, at night!

Anything but barefoot.
Any type wading shoe or dive boots work well.I personally use the hard sole dive boots.

I use beach/pool shoes, however they get sand in them and that stinks!!!

I'm going to get dive boots to keep out the sand!!!

dive boots, and sometimes my feet hurt with them pushing on the sand scoop could not even imagine trying to push on the scoop with bare-feet !

the straps eat my feet up.................i have shortne, lengthens............all .....................no good for me

but, before the sores and blisters they were great hunting shoes for sure

many of the out of towners were them with socks.................

THANKS EVERYONE!! I had no idea that this topic would bring out so many responses!!.............HH.............Joe
