Barberville gives another.....

Returned to Barberville for yet another hunt and had a good time! Coins etc came from public ground. I've quit digging zincs' lately and about to quit digging the more shallow clad/coppers but I keep thinking I may miss a shallow silver?. But to be honest, most my hunting is public stuff and I've yet to dig a shallow silver except for the 4" half I dug a few weeks back. I just might start digging only the deepies so I can cover more ground? Anyways....got this cool race car and this button (if anyone knows what it is...let me know?) and Barberville keeps my barber run going.......

Thanks guys for the info on the button and the car........ I thought that car looked familiar when I dug it?

Very nice finds. Super cool button too! Thanks for the pictures.

Excellent finds - congrats !

Any silver is nice, especially if it is a Barber! Great hunt.

Barber... a nice WW1 Button, I'd say it was a sweet hunt, Congrats

Thats a nice haul!

I always dig the deeper zinc numbers, sometimes they turn out to be medals, etc.
The shallow ones, i stopped digging them for a while but started again as most usually pop out easy and fast with a screw driver.

The shallowest Barber i ever dug up was on a river bank with my ATPro about a 1/2 inch deep. It registered as silver.
Just never know til you dig.
