Barbers!!

Wow! I finally broke my Barber curse for 2007. Hunted a new strip today, got solid signal.. high and to the right. Dug the plug and there was 1912 Barber. Going over the hole again, I got that classic nickel signal. It wasn't directly in the hole but off by 3 inches.. I expanded the hole, and out came the 1926 D Buffalo. 45 minutes later I got another good penny signal at 5" down. That's when Barber #2 came out.. 1901.

I found a 1901-S last year that was in excellent condition. Not being a coin collector per se, I listed it on an auction site and got $275 fot it. I don't usually sell my finds. But that $275 bought me some nice accessories for my detectors!!! HH Randy
