Barbers trifecta!!!

Wasn't sure where to post this as I don't post often but most of these we with my M6...
Ray Jr. (33)and I went to play a small town park from the 1880's.. Everytime we went out he'd say "today is the day for that Barber half".. That's all we needed to finish the 20th century coin folder we have.. Well this time he just said good luck, and off we went... First signal I dug with my M6 (5.3 coil) was a small high tone blip between two pieces of junk, one iron and one tab.. I popped the plug at 6" and there on the bottom of the plug a 1893 Barber half!! I yelled "big silver" and when his eyes saw the eagle his eyes about popped out!!
We continued to detect around a large tree next to the horseshoe pits.. I found a couple Indians and the a 1905 Barber dime..A little later he yelled I found a 1896 Barber quarter!! We went back for a couple hours the next day and found a pocket full of clad and handful of wheaties.. So we ended up with 5 Indian heads, 1864, 86, 93, 98, and a 1900.. Silver dimes and quarters to boot..
This is about 5 hours of detecting..
The Rays

Same park and a sprikle of rain and a sprinkle of silver...Ray Jr. and I ran out to the park we had found the Barbers at, for a couple hours between the raindrops.. I was about 50 feet from where we found the Barbers and after digging some trash I had a good strong quarter signal.. I popped the plug at about 4" and was expecting a clad but the lady was standing waiting for me about a half inch in the plug!! "1928" About 10 feet more and pulled a 1919 merc.. Jr. was having some luck also with a wedgewood silver and a communion holder for a priest for sick visits or last rites.. Not to be out done he also came up with a 1919 merc also..I found a 58 cal. ball and Ray found a brass piece that might of came from the train station that was there in the early 1900's A few wheats and a 41 Canadian..

Now that's one way to get the blood flowing! Those are fantastic finds. I'm speechless! :stretcher: Thanks for sharing and for the great pictures! Congratulations and HH, Nancy

Wow, where did you say this park is. I could only dream of finding a spot like that around Utah. What a great day.
