Barber Streak Continues

RLOH

Well-known member
A couple of days back I wrote a post telling of finding four Barber dimes and one Barber quarter. All of these coins were found on consecutive hunts and yesterday that streak continued. I have hunted this particular place for years and almost always find wheats and merc or two, but the last couple of weeks have been unbelieveable. I found another Barber dime(1904) that was in a trash infested area and it was about 7 inches deep. This place is not old enough for seated coins, but I am happy with Barbers. The 6a that I use seems to be considerably deeper than any of the other Cz's that I have owned. I have heard of old timers talk of having a "hot" detector and if that is the case, I have one. By the way, I was using the stock coil and I was swinging at a snails pace. Super detector! R.L.
