Jcooking and I went out for a real quick hunt last night to a spot we've only been to a couple of times. Within five minutes of hunting I found my first ever Barber Quarter, a 1913-S. It was a solid 84+ VDI at 5 inches. Within 2 minutes jcooking also found his first ever Barber Quarter, a 1905. We were both so excited the entire rest of the hunt because we both found our first Barber Quarter within 2 minutes of each other. I always look my silver coins up online when I get home to see if I found anything that's worth more than 10 bucks and it turns out the 1913-S coin I found is quite a desirable key date. I haven't done anything to the coin other than wash it with some warm water to get the big chunks of dirt off but from some of the rough unprofessional grading I did on it I"m guessing it's in fine to extra fine condition and worth quite a pretty penny.
