Barber quarter and a MERC dime!

Went out this morning to beat the rain that chased me down the road. It caught up but not before I got a mile into the woods and under the canopy of old trees. I dug what looks like a hundred big nails and iron pieces

Then I got in the groove a bit more and found a spoon and some other knick knack stuff. Finally got a decent signal and it was a 1916 wheat. Next signal was a 1906 Indian sitting on the surface (live dug that lol) and then I dug more and more nails.

Got another good tone and it showed silver!!! 1919 MERC dime. Right beside it I got another good tone but it was pretty messed up. Dug that. And freaked. My second barber quarter!!

That's a good day in my book!

I was in in combined open screen 4 tone

Awesome! Love finding oldies laying on top of the ground - got an injun last year at an old fairground sitting on top of hard dirt.
