Barber Park gives up another

The coin gods at Barber Park let another one out into the sunlight. This time a 1902 P dime. My streak at this park continues...all silver finds have been barbers.

Also found a crusty buffalo. I haven't been lucky enough to find ground that is kind to copper so unfortunately the Buffalo is a good representation of what I usually find. Trying to get em out of the ground before they rot away to nothing.

Sharp silver, congrats

Nice Barbara ! Buff looks like the ones I find.

Still lots of detail on that Dime. Tough ground makes them dark. Nice find.

Sounds like you have a good site. There is enough ferrous content in nickels that they and fat IHs come out of the ground at best rusty red, at worst heavily pitted.

Congrats on a nic Barber! Buffalo may be rough but nice find all the same.

The buff is heavily pitted on the front. Decent on the reverse. V nickles tend to be thin and almost unreadable from the soil around here.

On my list. My hunt was canceled today. I didnt think I should go as my invite had to work. Wont goto another guys spot without him.
