For really soft ground like parks I use these kind of knives I buy from the Dollar Tree. You can't get rough with them and use them in hard ground or to go prying around but they are good and cut through the ground/grass like butter. For the hard jobs I use the Leshce.
Dollar Tree has them at two for a dollar. Notice the color of the wooden handle. The light colored ones tend to be not that good. The darker colored wooden handles last longer. Have no idea why.
