Baptism Service !!! Country Style

[attachment 7262 Bapt.011.jpg]The church that I attend is a small Country Church with about 60 attendance. We had a Baptism service two weeks ago, and since we don't have a baptistry , we do it outside in a new horse trough. We baptised nine souls and all rejoiced with the Angels in Heaven.

Now THAT's a baptism. Growing up in South Arkansas, we did have a baptistry but I also witnessed numerous baptisms in a creek or gravel pit, but I'll have to say, I've never seen one in a horse trough!!!

First time I've ever seen it done in a horse trough! I bet you can get dunked pretty good in that :)

The church and the people look just great... I wanted to jump right in that picture.

I can't recall, where do you live?

Joe, I live in Conway, been here since going to Central Baptist College in 1991; which by the way I am a DOUBLE graduate. I moved there from Prescott down in the Southwest part of the state.

Paul,

I went to an awesome auction a few years ago in downtown Batesville in the Historic District where I purchased some very nice Civil War relics. I wish I'd had a lot more money with me! Some of it went for a song. It was one of the most impressive collections I've ever seen from a private individual. Just thought I'd throw that in.
