Bandido II Umax

I just purchased a Bandido II Umax today. I don't know what the going rate is on these detectors, but I hope I did good on the price. I have read a lot of good about these machines on this forum an other forums. I needed something with manual ground balance on it to cut through some mineralization out where I live. I did not have the budget for the outlaw right now, but thought this Bandido II would get me started. If it is everything I have read about, it will probably be a machine that will stay with me and never be sold, like my Compadre. I will never sell the Compadre. I can't wait til it arrives. HH

I've had the Ban2 back in the late 90's it's a solid performer and I found a lot of goodies with it, I don't know the going rate, hank

Thanks Hank68 for responding. I always enjoy reading your posts. I was really impressed by the video mike had of the golden Umax I watched that and thought I need a golden, I also am impressed by your recent posts of your finds with the Golden and the Tiger shark. I hope you keep finding the good stuff.

Thanks buddy, I've had a dry spell lately , but that's how is goes sometimes to the good with the bad, yep Mike does a awesome job with the videos, you'll be more than happy with your new machine, it's no slouch on depth, you'll find out soon enough, HH & GL hank

Dirt Digger, I started with a Bandido 2 umax and loved it. It found me all kinds of great stuff before I replaced it and frankly I've yet to get a machine that matches it's discrimination. It rocked, with practice I could tell from the signal how deep the item was and had a good idea of what it probably was. You'll be impressed I'm sure. Hope to see you posting some great finds with it. Good luck!
