Bandido II Umax, Eldorado Umax, or Vaquero

I am looking at buying an Eldorado Umax, Bandido II Umax or a Vaquero in the next little while. I just had a few questions for anyone who has used two of the three machines at least. I am trying to figure out what price would I expect to pay on a bandido II Umax or Eldorado Umax in say an 7 or 8 condition out of ten? If they are close to the same price as an new machine say the vaquero at $50 to $100 more than an older model, would you buy the Bandido, Eldorado, or the Vaquero. I am not in the market to buy the Outlaw yet. It looks amazing, but I would have to wait to buy it. I am also wondering on depth with standard 8" coils or 9x8" coils (in the case of the Eldorado Umax or Vaquero). Any info would be appreciated and thanks in advance.

I have had both the Bandido II umax and the Eldorado. And right now I wish I had both of them back. The Eldorado was the easiest detector to ground balance I ever had my hands on. Even one of the original field testers atested to that.
I am a relic hunter and mostly ran the 12x10 concentric coil on both detectors. Very good depth with this coil. And with the stock 9x8 they were great in iron. I plan on getting a Vaquero next unless the Outlaw turns out to be a hot relic
machine, but so far i have read no reports on how it performs in this application.

would like to know first what type of hunting do you do...If ya go with bandido or eldorado ...you cant loose.......It will be goood for most coin ,jewlery, relic hunting........

I enjoy all relic hunting, coin and jewelry. Basically I set my detector at a lower disc when I can, right about Iron, that is when I have a lot of time to hunt. When I do not have so long I set it at the o or l in foil on my Compadre. I needed a detector with manual ground balance, because the soil is bad where I live. Hoping to find more with the ground balance. Last year I saw two Eldorado Umax on eBay. This year there are none to be seen, so I bought a Bandido II Umax today. I am will be waiting impatiently for it's arrival. I hope I got a good deal on it. I saw they sold new back in 1997 for $425 dollars, but I was not even detecting back then. From what I have read it is really good at hunting in Iron infested areas.

I think any of the detectors you mention would be a good choice. I'd lean towards the Eldorado or B II however, as they use the
