Bandido II uMAX Best All-Around Tesoro Detector Ever?

Ever??????????

I liked my Tesoro Bandido II

tab it would be nice to see how the test comes out , I owned a silver umax and the outlaw seems deeper than the silver ,

:clapping: That is great. I never had a chance to try one of them. Would like to someday. You know, Every time I come to this sight, Everyone just loves their Tesoro, No matter which one they use. They all are so great. I have my share of them also. They are so easy to use and darn good. The one I use most of the time is that little COMPADRE. I just love that detector. Have fun with what ever you use... KEN

I find it very interesting that so many of us that have multiple Tesosos end up making so many good finds with the "less is more" Compadre. I'm thinking that one criteria that isn't mentioned enough when comparing detectors is the fun factor. Compadres are just plain simple and fun.

BarberBill,, You are so right about how much fun it is to use the COMPADRE. I have 2 of them here in the states and 1 in the Philippines. I also have 2 Vaqueros. One here and 1 their. If any thing ever happened to my Compadre I would just CRY  That's why I have 2 of them here. That is all I ever use... KEN

Best all around ever? Perhaps for its time, but who knows what's coming next?

The bandito II umax is a great detector. My personal favorite has been the Eldorado umax. However, after purchasing the Outlaw last this past spring, I'm finding that I appreciate the Outlaw more and more all the time. They are all great detectors. What makes one or another the "best" or "best ever" is dependent on too many variables to make it universal. I say enjoy what you have and if it works for you, don't worry about what others say or think.

Rusty Henry at Tesoro seems to think so ! when he checked over a mint one that I had,and we chatted about it on phone.

Oppie - right on. Use what YOU like.
