Hey Eric
They are easy to ground balance for anyone with a little practice, my first detector with adjustable GB was a Tiger Shark. That was in the year 2002, I just read the instructions, and had it down within the first couple of times that I used it. I would play around with it outside, get it adjusted, then purposely misadjust it. Then I would adjust it again, it got to the point where I could adjust the ground balance with my eyes closed. Manual ground balance is not hard to do, but alot of people look at it as though it is a 'black art' or something. My first Tesoro, a Toltec ll has a adjustable GB, but it was pretty well adjusted from the factory, and now I have it set just a tad positive for my ground. The Bandido ll has a ten turn GB knob, whereas the Toltec ll has a tiny adjustable pot located in rear of the control box. The Bandido ll that I have is an excelent machine, but is about16 yrs. old. Just got it back from a tuneup at Tesoro, and is one trashyard hunting detector. I have a couple of Fisher detectors, but the Bandido comes out when it gets really naily. JMT cents.................Hombre
