Banded Bald Eagle and a couple redtails..

YELLOWDOGDAVE

Seen this eagle fishing over the Chenango River yesterday. Pics look a little blurry because there is a few branches between me and him. I didn't realize he was banded until I got home and put the pics on the computer.

This one is perched on one foot - hard to see but his other foot is tucked up by his chest.

... the only shot of a bald eagle I've managed to get so far is one at a distance being attached by a flock of sea gulls. While it was interesting, the eagle was too far away to see much detail for the lens I own. Your pics are much better than mine. ;^)

Keep up the good work!

Those are some nice photos. Was the Eagle banded by the government for tracking purposes? Thanks for sharing these fine photos, very enjoyable to view. Kelley (Texas) :)

Great pics as usual Dave... I would really love to own that lens... I see some fantastic shots taken with it...
keep up the good work..
