BAM....waterproof propointer for the CTX

nolanation

Propointer in a vacuum sealed bag, although not vacuumed, just sealed for 2 reasons: You can not turn it off once you turn it on due to the vacuum, and with a bit of air in there....it floats! Good luck.

Ha! I've used a convenience store bag and duct tape before.

I thought about vacuum sealing but I was worried I would tear the plastic while rummaging around on the lake bottom....may want to consider duct taping up at least the tip of yours as well.

OK here I go for the last time. I know jokes will come in about this post, but the best way I found to waterproof the Propointer is to use a bike tire 26" tube and silicone tape from Home Depot.

Just cut your tube longer than you need and fold over the ends and wrap them in waterproof silicone tape.

The switch is easy to feel and turn on and off. And you will not poke a hole so easily in the tube.

Dumb comment.....try it first! I used it today for 5 hours in salt water, no probs, didn't say it was extremely durable

Just spray the entire thing with several coats of the clear Plasti-Dip.
