Balancing The MXT Pro

I just read a post on another site where a guy was having a problem balancing his MXT ( or so he thought ) and was asking for advice. A person replied on what to do and said to be sure he doesn't have a belt buckle when he does it or it can be a problem.

Nowhere in the video or instructions, or anything I have read on-line has mentioned this.

So is it a problem or isn't it ?

I've never had a problem with anything metal that I've been wearing interfering while Detecting.
Unless he has bee throughing it on the ground, or a reallly really big buckle. Say about the size of a small car.
The MXT ground balances very fast... Just a few bounces on clean ground and your good to go...

I'd be more worried about steel toed boots..I made the mistake of wearing mine out detecting a while back...its no fun at all.

Only a problem if it's under his coil!:clapping:

I wore my steel toed boots and every time I got near them, I had issues. It took me a good part of the day to figure it out. Go figure. Jack

I've made some good finds with my steel toed boots on. Never had that problem.
