Balancing a Ace 250

I haven't used my Ace 250 for about 1 year. Is it necessary to ground balance the 250??? If so I don't remember how you go about it. Can someone let me know. I can't locate my owners manual. I have been letting my grandsons use the Ace 250 but I haven't been ground balancing it before they use it. I would appreciate some info.

The Ace has a preset ground balance, so you don't need to worry about that. If you happen to detect in some mineralised ground, knock out the first 3 notches and operate at 5 notches of sensitivity. you want need to do that very often though as it handles most situations with ease.
Mick Evans.

There is no manual ground balance on the 250. You can call Garrett and get a manual or go to their web site and download one.
