Baffling just baffling. 1937 Canadian Quarter

Been waiting for this H.S. last football play-off game. Man the ATP and I had a good workout. 94 coins, 64 of them Q's, and one of those a 1937 Canadian Quarter. It was on a steep sloop near the visitors bleachers. Buried down about 7" and into the clay fill. This is in Pennsylvania. You just never know what's going to pop up next. Found 2 of my 5 gold rings this year on 2 of my lousyest clad days. Found one after a hunt that netted me 6 clads. The other after finding 10 clads. Found a silver Reg. Medallion in a cow pasture this spring along with some rifle brass.
Baffling isn't it. Bet you guys got some stories of finds that were just surprising.

Dancer, great day, it is not a surprise to me when you score, you work hard and use your imagination .
Hope your team also won ! HH

Thats outstanding work there dude! :clapping: 5 gold rings per yr is above the norm, that much clad in one outing also says a lot about your dirt skills...I've not yet used the Pro for cladshooting but am impressed by the results of those that do....nice job on that deep silver Q...most cladstabbers dont go after that deep a target, and in reality, most of us have never found a silver Q in any setting...must have hit such a solid deep ping you couldnt resist!:clapping: impressed here...:clapping:

Excellent day, Dancer. I enjoy just getting out detecting, but enjoy it so much more when I find silver or gold or both. At least something towards gas money. HH.

Nearly a century...that is a good dig. I would imagine a lot of the finds were surface or shallow. Silver is always nice!

Right you R Les, only the nickels & the 37 were down deep.
